Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Branch Relationship Officer role based in Saharanpur. The Branch Relationship Officer will build and maintain strong relationships with MSME clients, understanding their financial needs and recommending suitable lending products. The role includes managing a portfolio of customers, conducting regular visits, handling inquiries, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include supporting loan origination, assisting with documentation, coordinating with internal credit and operations teams, and ensuring timely follow-ups and collections. The Branch Relationship Officer will also contribute to branch-level sales targets, participate in local marketing and outreach activities, and uphold the company's standards of compliance, integrity, and service quality.
Qualifications
- Strong Business Relationship Management skills to develop, retain, and grow a portfolio of MSME clients.
- Foundational understanding of Finance, including lending concepts, basic credit assessment, and risk awareness.
- Effective Communication skills for clear, respectful, and professional interaction with customers and internal teams.
- Customer Service skills to handle inquiries, resolve issues, and provide a positive client experience.
- Sales skills to identify opportunities, promote lending products, and support branch business targets.
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, commerce, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in financial services.
- Prior experience in banking, NBFCs, or MSME lending is preferred, especially in branch-based or field roles.
- Comfort with basic digital tools and lending systems; ability to maintain accurate records and reports.
- Knowledge of the local market in and around Saharanpur and willingness to travel locally for client visits.
- High level of integrity, accountability, and willingness to work in a target-oriented, customer-centric environment.
