Role Overview
The role involves spearheading corporate relations, business development, and growth strategies for L&T across traditional and emerging businesses. The incumbent will be responsible for building strong stakeholder relationships, enhancing corporate image, leading new-age business verticals, and driving employee engagement and competency development initiatives in alignment with the organization's values and culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and sustain strong relationships with Government officials, key customers, and industry stakeholders.
- Drive business development initiatives to support growth across L&T's business verticals.
- Enhance the company's corporate image by engaging with corporate houses, bureaucrats, and government agencies.
- Provide leadership to emerging businesses including Edutech, Sufin, Green Energy, Semiconductor, and Data Centers.
- Evaluate and assess business performance, formulating strategies for expansion and sustainable growth.
- Represent L&T by participating in industry events, conferences, and exhibitions.
- Champion and promote L&T's culture and core values within and outside the organization.
- Lead employee engagement programs to enhance performance, retention, and workplace safety while attracting top talent.
- Design and implement training and competency-building initiatives to prepare the workforce for future requirements.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering / Management; MBA or equivalent preferred.
- Around 10 years of experience in corporate relations, business development, or strategy roles in a reputed organization.
- Proven track record of engaging with government officials and corporate stakeholders.
- Exposure to new-age businesses such as Edutech, Green Energy, or Digital Platforms will be an advantage.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
