Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Branch Manager role based in Varanasi. The Branch Manager will oversee daily operations of the center, including academic delivery, student experience, and administrative functions, ensuring adherence to AESL's quality and compliance standards. Responsibilities include driving enrollment growth, executing local marketing and outreach initiatives, and monitoring performance metrics to achieve branch targets. The role involves leading and mentoring a diverse team, managing staff schedules, and coordinating with academic and sales teams to maintain high levels of service. The Branch Manager will also handle stakeholder communication with students, parents, and local partners, resolve escalations, and provide regular reports and insights to regional and corporate leadership.
Qualifications
- Proven skills in branch or center operations management, including planning, workflow optimization, and adherence to processes and policies.
- Strong people management capabilities, with experience in team leadership, performance management, mentoring, and conflict resolution.
- Ability to drive sales and business development through counseling, lead management, local marketing, and relationship-building with students and parents.
- Competence in data-driven decision-making, including tracking KPIs, analyzing branch performance, budgeting, and reporting to senior management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present information clearly, conduct meetings, and manage stakeholder expectations.
- Comfort with basic technology tools and education platforms, including CRM or ERP systems, MS Office, and digital communication tools.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Education, Management, or a related field; a postgraduate degree (MBA or equivalent) is an advantage.
- Relevant experience in education, test-prep, retail, or service-oriented industries, preferably in a branch or center leadership role.
