We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Banking Head - Corporate Banking SME with an experience between 16 - 20 years to lead and grow our corporate banking business across the region. About the Role
Key Responsibilities:
- Regional Strategy & Growth:
- Develop and execute the corporate banking strategy for the region in alignment with global and national objectives.
- Looking for expirence with SME Corporate banking with an expertise in MSME .
- Drive revenue growth through expansion of client base, cross-selling, and innovative financial solutions.
- Monitor market trends and identify opportunities to strengthen the bank's regional presence.
- Client & Market Leadership:
- Build and maintain relationships with top-tier corporate clients, government entities, and industry leaders.
- Position the bank as a trusted advisor by offering tailored solutions in lending, trade finance, treasury, and structured products.
- Represent the bank at regional forums, industry events, and regulatory discussions.
- Risk & Compliance Oversight:
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal risk management frameworks.
- Oversee credit approvals, portfolio quality, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Maintain strong governance standards across all regional operations.
- Operational Excellence:
- Drive digital transformation and process improvements to enhance client experience and operational efficiency.
- Ensure seamless coordination between regional offices and headquarters.
- Monitor performance metrics and implement corrective actions when needed.
- Leadership & Talent Development:
- Lead, inspire, and mentor corporate banking teams across the region.
- Build a strong talent pipeline by fostering professional growth and succession planning.
- Promote a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
Qualifications
- MBA/CA or equivalent advanced degree in Finance, Business, or Economics.
- 15+ years of progressive experience in Corporate Banking, with at least 7 years in senior leadership roles.
- Proven track record of managing large corporate portfolios and delivering regional growth.
- Strong knowledge of credit, treasury, trade finance, and structured lending.
- Deep understanding of regional markets, regulatory frameworks, and competitive landscape.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
