Role Description The Branch Credit Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Madhya Pradesh, India. This role is responsible for assessing and approving credit applications, analyzing customer financials, and managing branch-level credit portfolios within established risk frameworks. The Branch Credit Manager monitors credit performance, identifies early warning signals, and ensures adherence to internal policies, regulatory requirements, and audit standards. Daily responsibilities include conducting credit appraisals, coordinating with branch staff and sales teams, reviewing documentation, and maintaining accurate records and reports. The role also involves guiding branch colleagues on credit processes, supporting collections and recovery efforts, and contributing to branch profitability through sound credit decisions.
Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong credit management and credit risk management skills.
  • Candidates should possess solid analytical skills and the ability to interpret financial data.
  • Candidates should possess foundational knowledge of finance and credit products.
  • Candidates should possess effective communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Candidates should possess proficiency in basic office software and experience with financial or lending systems.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field is preferred.
  • Prior experience in branch operations, lending, or credit assessment within financial services is an advantage.
  • Ability to work on-site, manage multiple cases, and uphold high ethical and compliance standards.
