Branch Credit Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Branch Credit Manager to join our team at Equitas Small Finance Bank. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the BFSI industry, with a strong background in credit management and analysis. This pivotal role involves overseeing the entire credit function at the branch level, ensuring compliance, minimizing risk, and driving business growth through sound credit decisions.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Credit Function Management:
• Manage and oversee the credit function at the branch level, ensuring strict compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• Develop and implement effective credit policies and procedures aimed at minimizing risk and maximizing business growth.
• Ensure all credit-related transactions are accurately recorded and meticulously maintained.
• Credit Analysis & Risk Mitigation:
• Conduct thorough credit analyses and assessments to accurately determine client creditworthiness.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to proactively identify and mitigate potential credit risks.
• Monitor and report on credit portfolio performance, providing insightful recommendations for continuous improvement.

• Professional experience in the BFSI industry, with a strong background in credit management and analysis.
• Strong knowledge of credit management principles, practices, and regulations.
• Strong understanding of the BFSI industry, including market trends and competitor activity.
