Job Description

We are seeking a Branch Collection Manager to supervise and guide a team of collection staff to recover overdue debts. You will be responsible for developing and implementing effective collection strategies, setting and monitoring targets, and ensuring full compliance with regulations. This role requires strong leadership and negotiation skills to maintain positive relationships with customers while meeting branch goals.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Team Management: Supervise and guide a team of collection staff. Provide training, support, and performance management to ensure team effectiveness.
  • Collection Strategy: Develop and implement effective strategies for recovering overdue debts. This includes planning for field collections, initiating legal actions, and managing customer communication.
  • Target Achievement: Set and monitor collection targets, ensuring the branch meets its goals for overdue debt recovery.
  • Compliance: Ensure all team activities adhere to relevant regulations, company policies, and procedures related to debt collection and loan management.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Maintain positive relationships with customers. Resolve issues, negotiate payment arrangements, and facilitate settlements professionally.

Skills Required:

  • Proven experience in a collections or debt recovery role, with team management responsibilities.
  • Strong leadership and guidance skills for training and motivating a team.
  • Expertise in developing and implementing effective collection strategies.
  • Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills to manage customer relationships and resolve disputes.
  • A solid understanding of debt collection regulations and compliance requirements.

QUALIFICATION:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
