Role Overview
We are looking for a high-caliber
Full-stack Ruby on Rails Architect (10-15 years) to lead the end-to-end design and development of our scalable web applications.
The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between high-performance backend systems and modern, responsive frontends, driving architectural excellence across the entire stack.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-End Architecture : Define and drive the overall architecture for RoR-based applications, including frontend frameworks and backend services.
- Scalable Backend : Design secure, high-traffic backend systems using Ruby on Rails, Microservices, and RESTful APIs.
- Modern Frontend Strategy : Architect and lead the development of intuitive, responsive UI using React.js/modern JS frameworks, ensuring seamless integration with backend APIs.
- Performance Engineering : Optimize the entire stack (Frontend load times + Backend query performance) to ensure a 5-star user experience.
- Technical Governance : Conduct design reviews and enforce coding standards across both Ruby (Backend) and JavaScript (Frontend) ecosystems.
- Cloud & DevOps : Lead cloud adoption (AWS/Azure) and containerization using Docker and Kubernetes to streamline CI/CD workflows.
- Mentorship : Guide engineering teams on full-stack best practices, design patterns, and emerging technologies.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Total Experience : 10-15 years, with 5+ years of core hands-on RoR expertise.
- Frontend Mastery : Deep understanding of React.js, Redux, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3/SASS.
- System Design : Strong expertise in distributed systems, architectural patterns, and scalability logic.
- Databases : Expert-level PostgreSQL/MySQL skills and experience with NoSQL (Redis/MongoDB).
- DevOps : Hands-on experience with AWS cloud, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Soft Skills : Exceptional leadership, stakeholder management, and problem-solving abilities.
