Role Overview
We are hiring a BOM Validation Engineer who will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and consistency of Bills of Materials (BOMs) used across engineering, procurement, and manufacturing. The role requires a strong engineering background, analytical mindset, and familiarity with ERP/PLM systems to support our product lifecycle and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Validate and review Bills of Materials (BOMs) to ensure accuracy in part numbers, quantities, and hierarchy.
- Coordinate with Design, Procurement, and Manufacturing teams to resolve discrepancies.
- Support engineering change management (ECO/ECN) processes by validating updated BOMs.
- Perform BOM audits to maintain data integrity across ERP/PLM systems.
- Ensure compliance with internal quality standards and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Generate reports and trackers to support project milestones and management reviews.
- Contribute to process improvements and best practices for BOM management within Netweb.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Production Engineering or equivalent.
- 2–5 years of experience in BOM validation, product engineering, or related domain.
- Strong knowledge of BOM structures, engineering drawings, and lifecycle management.
- Hands-on experience with ERP/PLM tools (SAP, Teamcenter, Windchill, Agile, or similar).
- Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in IT hardware / server / HPC domain.
- Exposure to NPI (New Product Introduction) processes.
- Familiarity with ISO standards, RoHS, REACH compliance.
