We are seeking an experienced Body & Paint Technical Specialist to support the development, standardization, and performance improvement of Body & Paint repair operations across dealer and workshop networks. The role requires strong technical expertise in accident repairs, insurance processes, workshop quality standards, and technical training, with a focus on driving operational excellence and capability development.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive adherence to Body & Paint repair standards, processes, and quality guidelines across dealer and workshop networks.
- Conduct technical audits, assessments, and process reviews to ensure compliance and operational excellence.
- Provide technical coaching, guidance, and on-site support to workshop teams.
- Facilitate technical training and capability development programs for dealers and workshop personnel.
- Collaborate with insurance partners, surveyors, and workshop stakeholders to improve repair quality and process efficiency.
- Support accident repair and insurance-related initiatives, including repair estimation, claim documentation, and damage assessment best practices.
- Analyze operational and business KPIs to identify improvement opportunities and drive corrective actions.
- Support network development, process standardization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Prepare performance reports, insights, and recommendations for management review.
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to enhance customer experience, repair quality, and business performance.
Required Experience & Skills
- 5+ years of experience in Body & Paint, Collision Repair, Accident Repair, or Automotive Technical Training.
- Strong understanding of Body Repair, Paint Processes, Damage Assessment, and Repair Methodologies.
- Experience working with insurance claims, surveyors, repair estimations, and accident repair workflows.
- Hands-on experience as a Technician, Trainer, Technical Specialist, Supervisor, or Workshop Leader in the Body & Paint domain.
- Proven experience in technical training, dealer capability development, coaching, or network support.
- Strong knowledge of workshop quality standards, repair compliance, and process improvement.
- Excellent communication, presentation, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with dealers, insurance partners, workshop teams, and internal stakeholders.
Preferred Background
- Automotive OEM, Dealer Network, Collision Repair, or Body & Paint Technical Training experience.
- Candidates who have progressed from technical/shop-floor roles into technical training, consulting, or network development functions.
- Engineering or equivalent technical qualification preferred.

This role is focused on technical expertise, training, network development, and process excellence within the Body & Paint domain. Candidates primarily from general Aftersales Operations, Service Operations, or Bodyshop Operations management backgrounds may not be suitable.
