BMS Design cum Project Engineer (Saudi Arabia)

The BMS Design cum Project Engineer is responsible for the design and development of Building Management System (BMS) tools for HVAC applications and industrial automation systems including SCADA, PLC, and HMI. The role supports proposal preparation, technical documentation, cross-functional coordination with project, manufacturing, and purchasing teams, and ensures compliance with client requirements throughout the project lifecycle.

System Design and Documentation -

• Design BMS tools for HVAC systems such as boilers, chillers, AHUs, RTUs, FCUs, and VAV systems.
• Develop SCADA, PLC, and HMI configurations for various industrial automation applications.

Proposal Review and Preparation -

• Review RFP documents for completeness and request additional information as needed.
• Prepare bill of materials, scope of work, and assumptions for proposals.

Technical Information and Documentation -

• Provide detailed technical inputs including datasheets, layouts, schematics, and architectural drawings.
• Manage document revisions and versioning based on stakeholder feedback.

Engineering Coordination -

• Upon submittal approval, generate BOQs and specifications for procurement coordination.
• Coordinate with manufacturing to verify drawing updates and material changes; ensure final drawing accuracy.

Technical Support and Compliance -

• Respond to material compliance requests from project and purchasing teams.
• Support alternate material identification in case of availability or design constraints.

Stakeholder Coordination -

• Collaborate with the Projects Team and Document Controller to track and file all project communications.
• Direct technical inquiries to the appropriate engineers and ensure timely resolution.
• Organize and facilitate regular coordination meetings with internal and external stakeholders.

Education :

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.

Experience :

5 years of proven experience in BMS design and industrial automation tools, including SCADA, PLC, and HMI.

Functional Skills :

BMS design, project coordination, and stakeholder management.
