Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced BMC Remedy On-Prem Developer with strong hands-on experience in BMC Remedy AR System, Developer Studio, ITSM customization, CMDB, integrations and troubleshooting. The candidate should independently design, develop, enhance and support complex enterprise Remedy applications hosted in On-Premise environments.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop and customize BMC Remedy AR System applications using BMC Remedy Developer Studio.
2. Strong hands-on experience creating and troubleshooting Forms, Active Links, Filters, Escalations, Menus, Guides, Associations, Overlays and custom workflows.
3. Customize and support Incident, Problem, Change, Asset, Work Order, Service Request Management (SRM) and Service Level Management (SLM) modules.
4. Develop and maintain Service Request Definitions (SRDs), Application Object Templates (AOTs), Process Definition Templates (PDTs), approval workflows and service request fulfillment processes.
5. Implement third-party integrations using REST APIs, SOAP Web Services, JSON, XML, AR System APIs, staging/interface forms and integration workflows.
6. Work with BMC Atrium CMDB, including CI classes, relationships, datasets, normalization, identification, reconciliation and precedence rules.
7. Develop and troubleshoot Atrium Integrator, Pentaho/Spoon transformations, UDM and data-loading jobs.
8. Support Remedy AR Server, Mid-Tier, Smart IT, Email Engine, RSSO and related application components.
9. Troubleshoot complex workflow failures, integration issues, application performance and database-related problems using AR Server logs, Filter logs, SQL logs and API logs.
10. Support Remedy upgrades, patching, migrations, environment refreshes, deployment and configuration promotion.
11. Perform technical requirement analysis, solution design, development, unit testing, deployment, RCA and L3 production support.
12. Collaborate with infrastructure, database, application and business teams to implement reliable Remedy solutions.

Expected Profile: Strong hands-on Remedy Developer capable of independently developing complex ARS workflows, integrations and CMDB solutions, rather than an ITSM ticketing administrator.
