Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Solution Design and Implementation: Plan, design, deploy, and configure BMC Helix AIOps components, including monitoring tools (e.g., BMC Helix Operations Management), capacity optimization (e.g., BMC Helix Continuous Optimization), and log analytics. Integrate with existing systems like ServiceNow or Jira for seamless IT operations.
  • AI/ML-Driven Operations: Utilize AI algorithms for advanced anomaly detection, event correlation, causality determination, and root cause isolation to minimize downtime and automate incident resolution.
  • Customer Engagements: Conduct discovery sessions to assess client needs, deliver tailored demonstrations of BMC Helix capabilities (e.g., Agentic AI, intelligent automation), and provide best-action recommendations for remediation.
  • Administration and Support: Manage upgrades, migrations, integrations, and sustenance support for BMC Helix suite, including on-premise and SaaS deployments. Troubleshoot issues in multi-cloud, mainframe, and edge environments.
  • Collaboration and Innovation: Work with cross-functional teams (e.g., product specialists, sales) to support customer projects. Stay updated on trends in GenAI, ITSM, ITOM, AIOps, and DevOps principles.
  • Reporting and Optimization: Develop dashboards (e.g., using Grafana or True Sight Smart Reporting) for performance insights and optimize IT resources using predictive analytics.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: 6-10 years in IT operations, AIOps, or ITOM roles. Hands-on experience with BMC Helix (e.g., Operations Management, Discovery, AIOps) or similar platforms like True Sight, ServiceNow, or Splunk.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in AI/ML concepts for IT (e.g., anomaly detection, root cause analysis).
  • Scripting and API knowledge (e.g., Python, JavaScript, REST APIs).
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., BMC Patrol, SolarWinds), orchestration (e.g., True Sight Orchestration), and discovery tools (e.g., BMC Discovery).
  • Understanding of ITIL, DevOps, and service management frameworks.
  • Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, customer-facing communication, and ability to work in agile teams. Multilingual skills (e.g., English + Spanish/French) are a plus.
