Position Title: Blown Film Extrusion Head

Industry: Plastics, Packaging, or Polymer Manufacturing

Key Function: 

Manage and optimize the blown film extrusion process, ensuring high-quality film production and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

Production Oversight: Supervise and manage the operation of blown film extrusion machines.

Process Optimization: Ensure efficient utilization of materials, minimize waste, and optimize machine performance.

Team Management: Lead and train production staff and technicians.

Quality Assurance: Maintain consistent quality of films, meeting customer specifications and industry standards.

Machine Maintenance: Oversee regular maintenance and troubleshooting of machinery.

Inventory Control: Manage raw materials, monitor usage, and coordinate with procurement teams.

Compliance: Ensure safety protocols, environmental regulations, and company policies are followed.

Reporting: Provide detailed reports on production performance, machine efficiency, and material consumption.

Skills & Competencies:

Strong knowledge of blown film extrusion processes and machinery.

Proficiency in polymer properties and material behavior.

Leadership and team management skills.

Analytical thinking for troubleshooting and process improvement.

Qualifications:

Education: Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Plastics Engineering, Polymer Science, or related field.

Experience:

8+ years in plastic extrusion or a similar manufacturing process.

At least 35 years in a supervisory or managerial role.

Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with extrusion machinery, tools, and software.

Profile:

Positions such as Plant Manager, Production Head, or Technical Operations Manager in the plastics manufacturing or packaging industry.
