JD: Block Program Coordinator- Bihar Government Project

An extremely rare large-scale human-impact + cutting-edge technology exposure opportunity for a sharp, high-ownership operations and project management professional to drive government-led poverty alleviation efforts in partnership with the Bihar Government.

Leap 300 has pioneered a high-tech, low-touch model to alleviate extreme poverty (<$2/Day), with outstanding pilot results. We are now implementing this model in partnership with the Bihar government, and we're looking for a strong leader to oversee this mission-critical project from end to end.

Mission for the Role:

Execute the best-in-the-world government-led rural entrepreneurship program to alleviate poverty in Bihar.

The Role:

As Block Program Coordinator, you will be the operational nerve-centre at a block leveldriving implementation through govt. field staff, strengthening field capability, and ensuring every beneficiary receives the Leap300 journey with rigour and motivation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure Seamless Execution: Ensure seamless execution of the program through the govt field staff.
  • Community Mobilization: Conduct beneficiary training to help beneficiaries establish micro enterprises and ensure they stay motivated.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with the onground team
  • Structured Reviews: Conduct check-ins with the field staff to ensure everything runs on track on ground
  • Drive Continuous Improvement: Regularly assess the program's effectiveness and design course corrections for stronger outcomes.
  • Re-train as needed: Identify capacity gaps among the field staff and conduct refreshers or support interventions to close them.

Profile:

  • Experience: 2-3 years of community mobilization/ field operations experience in the social impact sector, MSW preferred
  • Track Record of Ownership: You've independently owned complex projects and have a whatever it takes approach to outcomes.
  • Strong Communication & Relationship Skills:You can earn the trust of ground team and the beneficiaries
  • Empathy & Mission Orientation: You care deeply about impacting lives at scale and are willing to go deep to make it happen.

Location:

Full-time role based out of Bihar - in one of the districts of Saharsa/Siwan/Purnia
