Job Description – Oracle Backlog Management (BLM) Consultant

About the Role

Trinamix is looking for an experienced Oracle Backlog Management (BLM) Consultant to join our growing Oracle SCM practice. The ideal candidate should have strong functional knowledge of Oracle SCM / Order Management processes, with hands-on experience in Backlog Management, Order Fulfillment, GOP/ATP, and Supply Chain operations.

The role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, client teams, and Oracle consultants to optimize backlog handling, order prioritization, and fulfillment processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work on Oracle Backlog Management (BLM) processes within Oracle SCM environments
  • Configure and support Order Management, GOP (Global Order Promising), and fulfillment workflows
  • Analyze backlog orders, supply-demand constraints, and fulfillment priorities
  • Collaborate with business users to understand supply chain and order management requirements
  • Support implementation, enhancement, and production support activities
  • Participate in requirement gathering, solution design, testing, and deployment activities
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Planning, Inventory, Procurement, and Manufacturing
  • Troubleshoot functional issues and provide process improvement recommendations

Required Skills & Experience

  • 4+ years of experience in Oracle SCM / Order Management
  • Hands-on experience in Oracle Backlog Management processes
  • Strong understanding of:
    • Oracle Order Management (OM)
    • GOP / ATP
    • Inventory Management
    • Supply Chain & Fulfillment processes
  • Experience in implementation, support, or enhancement projects
  • Strong business process understanding in supply chain operations
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work directly with client/business teams

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in Oracle Fusion SCM Cloud or Oracle EBS
  • Exposure to Manufacturing, Planning, or Procurement modules
  • Basic understanding of integrations, SQL, or reporting tools
  • Experience in global or enterprise-level implementations
