Blender Python Scripting Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Write and optimize Blender Python scripts for custom tool development
• Integrate new scripts with existing Blender add-ons while ensuring compatibility and avoiding conflicts
• Improve runtime performance by profiling and tuning computationally intensive scripts
• Manage the full lifecycle of Blender add-ons, including registration, updates, and unloading
• Work closely with artists and developers to ensure usability, functionality, and performance
• Debug and maintain existing tools to ensure reliability in production environments

Requirements:

• Proven experience with Blender's Python API and scripting environment
• Strong understanding of Blender add-on architecture, registration, and lifecycle management
• Proficient in profiling and optimizing Python code within Blender
• Familiarity with performance bottlenecks related to geometry processing, modifiers, and UI responsiveness
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a creative and technical environment
