Role Description This is a part-time, remote role for a Blender Mentor at Tutedude. The Blender Mentor will guide learners through Blender concepts, workflows, and projects via online sessions, messages, and doubt-solving channels. Responsibilities include reviewing learner assignments, providing constructive feedback, and demonstrating best practices in 3D modeling, texturing, lighting, animation, and rendering. The mentor will help design or refine practical exercises, share real-world tips, and support learners in building portfolio-ready projects. The role also involves tracking learner progress, identifying common challenges, and collaborating with the team to improve course content and mentoring processes.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Blender, including 3D modeling, texturing, lighting, animation, and rendering.
• Experience applying Blender in practical contexts such as game assets, motion graphics, VFX, product visualization, or character design.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly, with prior teaching, mentoring, or training experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills in English, with a supportive, patient, and learner-focused mentoring style.
• Reliable access to a suitable computer, stable internet connection, and ability to conduct remote sessions and screen shares.
• Strong time management and organizational skills to handle part-time mentoring alongside timely doubt resolution.
• Familiarity with online learning platforms, community engagement, or edtech environments is an advantage.
• A portfolio or demo reel showcasing Blender work; relevant certifications or coursework in 3D design, animation, or related fields are a plus.
