About The Role
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Blender Artist to join our apparel visualization team. The ideal candidate should have strong 3D modeling skills, a solid understanding of UV mapping, and basic knowledge of fashion and garment construction. You will be responsible for creating high-quality 3D apparel assets for websites, e-commerce platforms, and digital fashion presentations.
Key Responsibilities
Create accurate and visually appealing 3D apparel models using Blender.
Develop and optimize garment meshes for web and e-commerce applications.
Add and refine garment details such as pleats, folds, stitching, seams, trims, and knee detailing with precision.
Perform advanced UV unwrapping and UV layout optimization for clean texturing workflows.
Apply and manage textures, materials, and garment surface details.
Ensure models are optimized while maintaining visual quality.
Collaborate with designers, merchandisers, and creative teams to achieve desired apparel representations.
Maintain consistency in garment proportions, fit, and detailing across projects.
Troubleshoot modeling, UV, and texturing issues as needed.
Required Skills
Technical Skills
Proficiency in Blender for 3D apparel modeling.
Strong 3D Modeling skills with attention to garment structure and details.
Experience in adding garment details, including knee detailing, seams, stitching, folds, and trims.
Strong understanding of UV Mapping and UV Optimization.
Knowledge of texturing, materials, and rendering workflows.
Ability to create clean, efficient, and production-ready topology.
Fashion Knowledge
Basic understanding of fashion apparel, garment construction, and fabric behavior.
Awareness of different garment categories, silhouettes, and fit types.
Understanding of apparel design elements and garment detailing.
Preferred Qualifications
Degree/Diploma in 3D Design, Animation, Fashion Technology, Fashion Design, or a related field.
Portfolio showcasing apparel modeling and UV mapping work.
Experience with garment visualization projects is a plus.
Knowledge of PBR texturing workflows is an advantage.
