Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced BlackLine Implementation Consultant to lead and support BlackLine implementations, configuration, integration, testing, and post-go-live activities. The consultant should have strong knowledge of financial close and accounting processes and the ability to work closely with business and technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead BlackLine implementation and configuration activities.
• Gather business requirements and translate them into BlackLine solutions.
• Configure BlackLine modules based on business and accounting requirements.
• Work on Account Reconciliation, Transaction Matching, Task Management, Journal Entry, and Close Management processes.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, functional specifications, and configuration documents.
• Support data migration, mapping, validation, and reconciliation activities.
• Coordinate integrations between BlackLine and ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, or other financial applications.
• Prepare and execute SIT, UAT, and regression testing.
• Troubleshoot functional and integration issues and provide root-cause analysis.
• Support deployment, cutover, and post-go-live stabilization.
• Conduct user training and prepare user guides/documentation.
• Work closely with Finance, Accounting, IT, and other stakeholders throughout the implementation lifecycle.
• Support continuous improvement and optimization of BlackLine processes.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with BlackLine implementation and configuration.
• Good understanding of Financial Close and Accounting processes.
• Experience with one or more BlackLine modules such as:
• Account Reconciliation
• Transaction Matching
• Task Management / Close Management
• Journal Entry
• Variance Analysis
• Experience with ERP integrations, preferably Oracle or SAP.
• Knowledge of data migration, mapping, interfaces, and reconciliation.
• Strong experience in requirements gathering, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a client-facing environment.

Preferred

• BlackLine certification.
• Experience with Oracle Fusion / Oracle EBS Financials or SAP Finance.
• Experience in end-to-end BlackLine implementation projects.
• Knowledge of REST APIs, SFTP, or integration tools is an advantage.
• Experience in financial transformation or shared-services environments.
