Vehicle Integration & Packaging: Coordinate with vehicle architecture teams to ensure proper fit, form, and function, verifying kinematic clearances, dynamic envelopes, and structural interfaces across operating conditions.
Supplier & Studio Collaboration: Partner with the Product Design Studio and supply base to align styling targets with stamping, casting, and assembly manufacturing feasibility.
Sourcing & Purchasing Support: Develop technical source packages, engineering statements of work (SOW), and technical specifications; work with Purchasing to evaluate and source suppliers.
Testing & Validation: Establish and execute component-, sub-system-, and vehicle-level validation test plans (DVP&R, DFMEA) to ensure structural durability, crashworthiness, and braking performance meet regulatory standards.
Performance & Efficiency Tracking: Monitor release timelines and engineering progress using project management Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and C/W/I (Cost/Weight/Investment) efficiency metrics.
