Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Biomedical Technician role based in Ahmedabad,Gujarat. The Biomedical Technician will install, inspect, test, calibrate, and maintain a wide range of medical equipment in accordance with manufacturer guidelines, safety standards, and hospital protocols. Responsibilities include diagnosing technical issues, performing preventive and corrective maintenance, documenting service activities, and updating asset records in maintenance systems. The role involves conducting electrical safety checks, supporting advanced repairs in coordination with senior engineers and repair facilities, and helping to optimize equipment uptime and lifecycle performance. The technician will collaborate closely with clinical staff, provide basic user training, escalate complex issues when required, and follow established procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards.

Job Description:

Install, adjust, maintain, repair and provide technical support for biomedical equipment.

Evaluate the safety, efficiency, and effectiveness of biomedical equipment.

To work under senior biomedical engineers and HOD.

To be responsible for the maintenance & training.

To maintain all the equipment's in the hospital.

To maintain the documents as required.

To present the records for audit purposes.

Educational Qualification: ITI or Diploma Holder

Experience Required: 2-8 years service in large multi- specialty hospitals.

Skills: In depth knowledge of technical functions of the medical equipment along with configuration parameters, Communication skills, eye for details.
