Role Description The Biomedical Engineer will work full time on-site in Jaipur, supporting the installation, calibration, and maintenance of ultrasound machine. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing routine and preventive maintenance, conducting equipment inspections and performance tests, and troubleshooting technical issues to minimize downtime. The role involves collaborating with clinical staff to understand equipment usage, providing user training on safe and effective operation, and documenting all service activities in accordance with regulatory and company standards. The Biomedical Engineer will also assist in evaluating new technologies, recommending upgrades, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality guidelines. This position requires regular visits to customer sites and close coordination with the service and sales teams to deliver high-quality support.
Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong skills in Biomedical Engineering and Clinical Engineering, with the ability to apply engineering principles to medical devices and healthcare environments.
Candidates should possess practical experience with Medical Equipment, including ultrasound system.
Candidates should possess proficiency in Equipment Maintenance and Preventive Maintenance, focusing on calibration, troubleshooting, and reliability improvement.

Relevant bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical field.

Knowledge of medical equipment safety standards, regulatory requirements, and hospital maintenance procedures.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a structured approach to documentation.
Ability to communicate clearly with clinical and technical staff, and to work independently as well as within a team.
Prior experience in a healthcare or medical device service environment is preferred; willingness to travel locally within Jaipur and surrounding areas as needed.
