Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Biomedical Engineer role based in Surat. The Biomedical Engineer will be responsible for installing, calibrating, and maintaining dermatology and cosmetic medical equipment across the clinic network to ensure safe and reliable operation. Daily tasks include conducting routine inspections, performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and coordinating repairs with vendors or service providers. The role also involves maintaining accurate documentation of service records, equipment inventory, and compliance reports in line with clinical and safety standards. The Biomedical Engineer will collaborate closely with doctors, nurses, and clinic staff to provide technical support, train users on proper equipment handling, and recommend improvements or upgrades to optimize clinical performance.

Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in Biomedical Engineering and Clinical Engineering, with the ability to apply engineering principles to clinical environments.
  • Hands-on experience with Medical Equipment relevant to dermatology and cosmetic treatments, including installation, calibration, and safety checks.
  • Proficiency in Equipment Maintenance and Preventive Maintenance, including routine inspections, troubleshooting, and coordinating repairs.
  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, Instrumentation, or a related engineering discipline.
  • Knowledge of healthcare standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements for medical devices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple clinic locations as needed.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with medical staff and external vendors, and to provide clear technical guidance to non-technical users.
  • Ability to work on-site full time in Surat, with flexibility to support urgent equipment issues and occasional extended hours if required.
