Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Biomedical Engineer, based in Coimbatore. The Biomedical Engineer will be responsible for designing, maintaining, and calibrating high-tech medical equipment, ensuring optimal functionality. Daily tasks include equipment maintenance, performing preventive checks, troubleshooting medical devices, and collaborating with clinicians to integrate technology into rehabilitation programs effectively. Additionally, the engineer will partake in research and development efforts to enhance product performance and usability.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Biomedical Engineering and Clinical Engineering principles
- Hands-on experience with Equipment Maintenance and Medical Equipment operations
- Knowledge of techniques and tools for Preventive Maintenance
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues
- Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software for medical devices
- Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related field
- Prior experience in healthcare technology or rehabilitation devices is a plus
