Role Description Biology Teacher (Full-Time, Madurai)

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Madurai for a Biology Teacher at the Ankuran Science Centre. The teacher will design and deliver interactive biology sessions that connect theoretical concepts with practical, real-world exploration. Responsibilities include preparing structured lesson plans, facilitating inquiry-based learning, conducting biology experiments and demonstrations, and inspiring students to observe, question, and understand living systems. The role demands a strong commitment to experiential learning and alignment with the Foundation's mission of fostering curiosity and scientific thinking.

Qualifications

• Strong foundational knowledge of Biology
• Ability to design effective lesson plans and engaging learning activities
• Experience or proficiency in related areas such as Environmental Science or Life Sciences is an advantage
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and classroom management skills
• Passion for hands-on, inquiry-driven learning
• Master's degree in biology/Life Sciences
• Prior teaching experience is preferred but not mandatory
