About The Role

What if your years of advanced biology training could directly shape how AI understands genetics, biotechnology, and the life sciences — for millions of researchers, students, and professionals around the world

We're looking for Biology experts with graduate-level credentials to help build and refine cutting-edge AI models. Your scientific knowledge will be used to develop complex, rigorous problems that teach AI to reason the way a real expert does.

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role. No prior AI experience needed — just deep domain expertise and a commitment to scientific accuracy.

  • Evaluate AI-generated biological reasoning for accuracy, depth, and scientific rigor
  • Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and fellow domain experts to strengthen model performance
  • Ensure clarity, precision, and scientific integrity across all deliverables

Who You Are

  • Holds a Master's or PhD in Biology or a closely related field — Genetics, Molecular Biology, Bioinformatics, Biotechnology, or equivalent
  • Strong working knowledge in at least one of: genetics, biotechnology, or bioinformatics
  • Comfortable coding in Python or R for research or analytical purposes
  • Exceptional written communication skills — you can explain complex science with clarity and precision
  • Detail-oriented and rigorous, with a high standard for scientific accuracy
  • Fluent in English

Nice to Have

  • Prior experience with data annotation, data quality review, or AI evaluation workflows

  • Background in academic research, scientific publishing, or peer review
  • Experience translating technical scientific concepts for non-specialist audiences

Why Join Us

  • Work on cutting-edge AI projects alongside world-leading research labs
  • Fully remote and flexible — work when and where it suits you
  • Freelance autonomy with the structure of meaningful, expert-level work
  • Apply your advanced degree to a role that has real, tangible impact on how AI understands science
  • Potential for ongoing work and contract extension as new projects launch
