Description
We are seeking a skilled Bioinformatics Scientist with 5-8 years of experience to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bioinformatics and computational biology, with experience in analyzing and interpreting genomic data.
Responsibilities
- Conduct bioinformatics analysis of genomic data using various software and tools.
- Develop and implement algorithms for data analysis and interpretation.
- Collaborate with biologists and researchers to design experiments and interpret results.
- Maintain and update bioinformatics databases and software tools.
- Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
Skills and Qualifications
- Ph.D. or Master's degree in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, or a related field.
- 5-8 years of experience in bioinformatics or a related area.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Perl.
- Experience with genomic data analysis and interpretation.
- Familiarity with bioinformatics tools and databases such as BLAST, GenBank, or UCSC Genome Browser.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
