Tata Electronics Private Limited (TEPL) is a greenfield venture of the Tata Group with expertise in manufacturing precision components.

Tata Electronics (a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Sons Pvt. Ltd.) is building India's first AI-enabled state-of-the-art Semiconductor Foundry. This facility will produce chips for applications such as power management IC, display drivers, microcontrollers (MCU) and high-performance computing logic, addressing the growing demand in markets such as automotive, computing and data storage, wireless communications and artificial intelligence.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the implementation of BIM on new projects
• Work closely with A/E (Architect/Engineer) and GC (General Contractor) BIM Coordinators
• Assist with or take ownership for writing the BIM Execution Plan and defining the BIM scope
• Assist project team with setup/utilization of Navisworks and 3D Software
• Perform QA/QC on models
• Maintain integrated BIM model, run clash detection reports and maintain issues log
• Participation in Design Review and Clash Resolution meetings
• Provide software trainings as required.
• Research and stay informed on BIM related software and technologies
• Participate in user group meetings for BIM related software
• In your role as BIM Modeller, you will report to the Fab Design Manager

Essential Attributes

• BIM Modeller with ability to trouble shoot problems both with the software and the way the users are using it
• Proficiency with at least one of the following: Revit, CADWorx, Civil 3D
• Proficient with Navisworks Manage, including the ability to setup clash reports, rules, and selection sets
• Experienced working with Excel to create client clash reports and other deliverables
• Background or industry experience in one of the MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumping) system
• Ability to write batch, script, and other automation programs is a plus
• Strong communication, organization, and analytical skills

Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in engineering

Experience

• 5+ years experience as BIM Modeller
