- 2D & 3D Design: Independently work on AutoCAD/MicroStation and BIM/Revit platforms for the design and detail engineering of substation projects.
- BIM Process Knowledge: Utilize BIM/Revit for design and detail engineering, with PAS 1192 knowledge being an added advantage.
- Engineering Drawings: Develop tender engineering drawings quickly and with high quality.
- System Completeness: Ensure the completeness and proper functioning of the assigned substation packages.
- Engineering Checks: Confirm engineering development, ensuring all inter-discipline checks are conducted and results are documented.
- CAD Issue Resolution: Address any CAD issues arising during engineering development.
- Change Management: Report and keep records of all engineering changes and their impacts.
- Collaboration: Cooperate with the engineering team to assess project-specific impacts caused by changes.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with Linxon and Client engineering guidelines, standards, and quality during the entire engineering process.
- Work Plans & Cost Estimates: Create work plans and cost estimates within your area of responsibility.
- Design Issue Log: Contribute to maintaining an up-to-date design issue log.
- Safety Compliance: Follow Linxon OHS procedures and guidelines.
- Model Reviews: Participate in CAD design and BIM model reviews.
- Project Close-out: Provide input for close-out reports, lessons learned, and apply these insights to future projects.
Experience, Education, and Other Requirements:
- Educational Qualification: Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Power Engineering.
- Experience: 6+ years of experience in CAD/BIM design, with hands-on experience in executing project engineering in the Revit platform.
- Substation Design: Good knowledge of AIS & GIS substation design, including deliverables like equipment layout, earthing layout, cable tray, lighting, lightning protection, and cable trench.
- Revit Expertise: Practical experience with Revit tools.
- Site Experience: Any site experience will be beneficial.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and quality in all aspects of work.
