BIM Modeler

Job Accountabilities:

1. Model Creation and Maintenance: Develop and manage 3D BIM models for various project stages, including conceptual, schematic, detailed design, and construction phases.

2. Coordination: Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure model accuracy and resolve clashes.

3. Standards Compliance: Adhere to company and project-specific BIM standards, guidelines, and protocols.

4. Documentation: Generate 2D drawings, schedules, and reports from the BIM model as required.

5. Clash Detection and Resolution: Conduct clash detection analysis using software like Navisworks and communicate solutions to the project team.

6. Rendering and Visualization: Create photorealistic renderings, animations, and virtual walkthroughs to support client presentations and design reviews.

7. Training and Support: Assist team members in understanding and using BIM tools effectively.

Skills Required (Knowledge and Skills)

1. Knowledge of BIM tools such as Revit, Navisworks, ACC/AEC Suite

2. Parametric modelling and Family creation

3. Communication and Collaboration

4. Clash detection and resolution

5. Validating and checking model quality

6. Rendering and Walkthroughs

Key Attributes (Experience and Qualifications)

1. Bachelors Degree in Engineering/Architecture (any discipline)
