BIM Modeler MEP

Qualifications:

• Degree/Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• A minimum of 3+ years of work experience

Required Skills:

• A high level of proficiency in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD and Navisworks
• Experience in Dynamo routines is desirable
• A strong background in Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing or Fire Protection Systems
• Ability to setup and annotate design and construction drawings, including schedules
• Proficient in working with markups
• Able to read and follow a BEP
• Conducting and resolving Clash Analysis
• Creating Parametric Families
• Strong knowledge in LOD

Additional Requirements:

• Knowledge of ISO-19650 Standards and Procedures
• High attention to detail and accuracy in work related tasks
• Must be able to work with different teams, under supervision and in accordance with tight deadlines
• Experience in Metro, Subway and Rail Infrastructure projects is an advantage
• Fluency in written and verbal English communication

Responsibilities:

• Production and Coordination of MEP models
• Create drawings from MEP models
• Tracking and resolving multiple changes as per client markups
• Ensuring model accuracy and compliance with project standards
• Keeping up with industry trends and implementing best practices

Specializations:

• Mechanical: HVAC modeling (ductwork, piping, equipment)
• Electrical: Modeling of containment (cable trays, trunking and conduit), small power, lighting, fire alarm, and data networks Knowledge in circuiting will be desirable
• Plumbing: Modeling of water supply, drainage systems, fuel and gas pipe networks
• Fire Protection: Modeling of dry, wet, clean agent, and detection systems
