Develop electrical schematics and single-line diagrams (SLDs) using AutoCAD for HT/MV/LV systems, UPS, generators, battery rooms, and critical power systems. Prepare electrical layouts including substations, switch rooms, cable routing, busduct systems, earthing, and lightning protection.
Create and maintain Revit electrical models up to LOD 300–400. Develop coordinated BIM models for data center electrical systems ensuring accuracy and alignment with design intent and specifications.
Perform multidisciplinary coordination in Revit with mechanical, architectural, structural, fire, and ELV systems. Resolve clashes and ensure integrated design delivery aligned with redundancy concepts (N, N+1, 2N).
Maintain drawing registers, model versions, and documentation control as per BIM execution plans. Ensure compliance with QA/QC standards, project specifications, and constructability requirements.
Support design for data center electrical infrastructure including UPS systems, generators, battery systems, and critical/non-critical power distribution. Understand redundancy concepts and mission-critical design requirements.
Prepare high-level BOMs and assist in quantity take-offs to support cost estimation and BOQs. Interpret electrical design intent, SLDs, and engineering specifications.
Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit for electrical design and BIM modeling. Exposure to ETAP or similar tools for electrical analysis is an added advantage.
Project Type Exposure
Work on hyperscale, colocation, or AI/GPU data center projects. Familiarity with Uptime Institute Tier standards and TIA-942 guidelines is preferred.
