Role SummaryWe are looking for a skilled BIM Modeler (Architecture) with 1 to 3 years of experience to join our technical team in Ahmedabad. This role focuses on the precise conversion of CAD drawings and laser scan data into high-quality BIM models. You will be a key part of our delivery arm, ensuring that every project adheres to rigorous international standards and supports real-world construction decisions.
Key Responsibilities- CAD to BIM & Scan to BIM: Develop accurate 3D architectural models from 2D CAD files and Point Cloud data (Laser Scans) using Revit.
- Documentation: Prepare detailed Construction Documentation (CD sets) and Revit families according to project-specific requirements.
- International Standards: Ensure all models comply with US, UK, and Global building codes and LOD (Level of Development) standards.
- Quality Control: Perform self-checks to maintain uncompromised drawing accuracy and zero-clash models.
- Collaboration: Coordinate with the BIM Manager and international stakeholders to resolve technical RFIs and meet tight project deadlines.
Requirements & Qualifications- Education: Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering.
- Experience: 13 years of experience in BIM modeling, preferably within an International Outsourcing/Offshoring environment.
- Software Mastery: Proficiency in Autodesk Revit (Architecture) and AutoCAD is mandatory. Familiarity with Navisworks, Autodesk Recap, or 3Ds Max is a significant advantage.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of architectural scales, layering, and global construction documentation standards.
- Communication: Good English communication skills (written and verbal) for internal and client-side coordination.
- Availability: Must be able to work full-time from our office in Ahmedabad.
