About the OpportunityWe are hiring BIM MEP Engineers for URC Construction (P) Ltd., Chennai. This position is open to both freshers and candidates with 12 years of professional experience in BIM MEP modeling and coordination.
Candidates who have pursued a certified BIM MEP course are strongly encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities- Develop BIM models for MEP services (HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, Electrical).
- Create coordinated drawings, shop drawings, and as-built models using Revit MEP.
- Work closely with project engineers and BIM leads to ensure accuracy and compliance with project standards.
- Update models based on engineering inputs, revisions, and coordination requirements.
- Assist in clash detection and coordination using BIM platforms/software.
- Maintain project documentation and ensure timely submission of deliverables.
Required Skills- Strong knowledge of Revit MEP (mandatory).
- Awareness of MEP systems such as HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing & Fire Fighting.
- Ability to read and understand MEP drawings and construction details.
- Good communication, team coordination, and willingness to learn and adapt.
- Navisworks knowledge is an added advantage.
Eligibility- BE/B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or relevant engineering discipline.
- Freshers must have completed a certified BIM MEP course (mandatory).
- Experienced candidates must have 12 years of hands-on experience in BIM MEP design or modelling.
