BIM MEP Designer

Job Description

The most expensive drawing on a fit-out is the one where the duct crosses the beam and nobody noticed until the ceiling was half up.

We're hiring a BIM MEP Designer to catch that in the model, not on site. Mechanical background mandatory.

What you'll do

→ Model HVAC in Revit to LOD 350 — AHU/FCU/VRF layouts, duct routing and sizing, diffuser and grille placement

→ Run Navisworks clash detection against architecture, ceiling grid, electrical and PHE. Resolve it in the model, not in an RFI three weeks into site

→ Produce coordinated services sections, shop drawings and BOQ-linked schedules

→ Use our simulation and automation stack — thermal/airflow checks, Dynamo scripts, parametric families

→ Sit opposite the MEP consultant in design review and hold the mechanical position with numbers

What we need

→ B.E./B.Tech Mechanical. This is not negotiable — we want someone who understands load calculation and psychrometrics, not someone who places families

→ 3–6 years on Revit MEP + Navisworks

→ Working knowledge of ASHRAE 62.1/90.1, ISHRAE, NBC 2016 Part 8

→ Able to read a consultant's basis of design and argue with it

Bonus, not mandatory

→ Corporate office / GCC fit-out experience

→ Dynamo, Power BI, or MEP simulation exposure

We build with BIM and automation as the delivery method, not as a deliverable. If your model has ever saved a project's finished ceiling height, that's the story I want to hear.
