About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented BIM Estimation Engineer to support the pre-sales team. The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate project hour calculations and Building Information Modeling (BIM) software. This role requires strong technical expertise in BIM tools and a solid understanding of modeling workflows and coordination processes.
Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed project hour estimations from BIM models (LOD 200–500).
- Develop accurate cost estimates for modeling, clash coordination, and shop drawings.
- Analyze project drawings, specifications, and BIM models to define project scope.
- Collaborate with design, engineering, and project teams to ensure estimation accuracy.
- Prepare project inclusions and exclusions clearly.
- Develop techno-commercial proposals for clients.
- Identify discrepancies between drawings and BIM models and report issues.
- Ensure compliance with project standards and client requirements.
- Prepare project understanding documents, assumptions, and scope clarifications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in BIM-based estimation or pre-sales support.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in BIM tools such as Autodesk Revit and Navisworks.
- Exposure to Architecture, Structure, and MEPF modeling.
- Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Proficiency in MS Excel for estimation and data analysis.
