Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a BIM Engineer specializing in Precast, based in Bangaluru. The BIM Engineer will be responsible for creating, managing, and evaluating BIM models for precast projects, developing construction drawings, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. The role entails close collaboration with architects, civil engineers, and MEP professionals to optimize design and construction processes using advanced BIM tools and methodologies. The BIM Engineer will also identify potential clashes and provide resolutions to enhance project delivery.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools and workflows, including Autocad, Revit and Tekla Structures
- Experience creating and managing Construction Drawings and models
- Solid understanding and ability to work with Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems
- Background in Architecture and Civil Engineering
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams effectively
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related fields
- Familiarity with Navisworks Manage for clash detection and resolution is a plus
- Relevant industry certification in BIM software is preferred
