Position Description - We are seeking a detail-oriented BIM Engineer (Mechanical) with 3+ years of experience in HVAC, plumbing, and sanitary modeling. The candidate should have strong hands-on experience in BIM tools, coordination workflows, and the ability to interpret mechanical drawings, submittals, and schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage 3D BIM models for HVAC ducting, plumbing, and sanitary systems
• Prepare coordinated models based on mechanical drawings and project requirements
• Perform clash detection and assist in resolving coordination issues with other disciplines
• Interpret and work from mechanical floor plans, submittals, and schedules
• Create and modify parametric Revit families for mechanical components
• Generate shop drawings and model-based deliverables
• Maintain BIM standards and follow project-specific guidelines

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 3+ years of experience in BIM modeling for mechanical systems
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit (MEP)
• Strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing, and sanitary systems
• Experience in clash detection tools (Navisworks or similar)
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, submittals, and schedules
• Basic knowledge of coordination workflows in BIM projects
• Experience in parametric family creation

• Autodesk Revit (MEP)
• Navisworks Manage / Navisworks Simulate
• AutoCAD
• BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud (preferred)
• Microsoft Excel (for schedules and quantity take-offs)

Preferred Skills:

• Exposure to international BIM standards (LOD, ISO, etc.)
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
