BIM Electrical & Mechanical Assistant Manager

Location: Kolkata

Working Days: 5 Days a Week

Experience Requirement:US Project Experience Mandatory- Minimum 4+ years to 9 years

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced BIM Electrical & Mechanical Assistant Manager to lead and coordinate BIM activities for US-based MEP projects. The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise in BIM execution, team coordination, and US standards/codes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate BIM modeling for Electrical & Mechanical (MEP) systems
  • Lead BIM teams and ensure timely delivery of project milestones
  • Develop and maintain BIM Execution Plans (BEP)
  • Coordinate with internal teams and US-based stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with US codes, standards, and client requirements
  • Perform clash detection, model audits, and quality control
  • Support project planning, resource allocation, and progress tracking
  • Assist in training and mentoring BIM engineers/modelers
  • Participate in coordination meetings and client presentations
Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical preferred)
  • 6+ years of BIM experience, with mandatory US project exposure
  • Strong hands-on experience in Revit MEP, Navisworks
  • Good understanding of US building codes, BIM standards, and workflows
  • Experience managing teams and multi-disciplinary coordination
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with international clients (US)
  • Exposure to BIM 360 / ACC is a plus
  • Strong problem-solving and leadership abilities
