BIM Coordination Specialist

Experience : 4 to 5 Years

Location: Baner, Pune

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Revit Model Checker to ensure the accuracy, quality, and compliance of Building Information Modelling (BIM) models within our projects. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Autodesk Revit, BIM standards, and model validation processes to maintain consistency and adherence to project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Model Auditing & Quality Control:

Strong knowledge of Revit- Architecture, Structure & MEPF. Technical know-how for all disciplines 

Review Revit models for accuracy, completeness w.r.t consultant design drawings and compliance with BIM standards

Identify and report inconsistencies, clashes, and errors in models 

Ensure model integrity by checking parameters, naming conventions, and data consistency.

2 Compliance & Standards:

Standardizing internal strategies for BIM modelling & documentation 

Verify that models follow company, industry, and client-specific BIM standards.

Ensure adherence to Level of Development (LOD) and BIM Execution Plans (BEP).

Conduct clash detection and coordination checks using Revit and other BIM tools.

3.Collaboration & Reporting:

Communicate findings to project teams and provide recommendations for improvement.

Generate reports and dashboards highlighting model health and compliance status.

4.Efficiency Improvements:

Document and Maintain QC checklist. Prepare QC checklist if required

Suggest improvements in workflows to enhance modelling efficiency and accuracy. 

Qualifications & Skills

Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and Navisworks.

Autodesk Construction Cloud and other Collaboration platforms.

Familiarity with BIM standards such as ISO 19650, AIA BIM standards, or similar.

Analytical & Problem Solving:

Strong attention to detail and ability to identify inconsistencies in models.

Ability to analyze data and generate comprehensive reports.

Collaboration & Communication:

Effective communication skills for reporting findings and coordinating with teams.

Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams including architects, engineers, and contractors.

Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in architecture, Civil Engineering, or Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
