Role Description The BIM Coordinator MEP will work full time on-site in Hyderabad and will be responsible for coordinating Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) models within multidisciplinary BIM environments. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing and integrating consultant and contractor models, identifying and resolving clashes, and ensuring model accuracy and compliance with project BIM standards. The role involves collaborating with architects, structural engineers, and project managers, preparing coordination reports, and supporting design and construction teams with updated MEP model information. The BIM Coordinator MEP will also assist in implementing project-specific BIM execution plans, maintaining documentation, and contributing to continuous improvement of BIM workflows and templates.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Building Information Modeling (BIM) and BIM Coordination, with experience in model integration and clash detection.
- Candidates should possess relevant knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems and their coordination within architectural and structural contexts.
- Candidates should possess an understanding of Architecture and building design processes to support multidisciplinary coordination.
- Candidates should possess Project Management skills, including planning, task tracking, and communication with stakeholders.
- Proficiency in BIM software (e.g., Revit, Navisworks, or similar tools) and familiarity with BIM standards and execution plans.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with attention to detail and quality.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities to work with internal teams and external partners.
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Architectural engineering, or a related discipline; prior experience in BIM MEP coordination is preferred.
