BIM Coordinator

Experience: 3 years BIM experience in Metro/Infrastructure Exposure of 4D-5D BIM (Synchro) will be an added advantage.

Qualification: Only B Tech or B Arch. Diploma Candidates are not eligible for this role.

Joining: Immediate to 45 days maximum. Candidates with 90 days notice period don't need to apply.

Candidates with less than 5 Years of professional Experience not eligible.

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled BIM Coordinator with strong experience of Revit with preferable experience in Infrastructure/ Railway/ Metro projects

BIM Coordinator Civil         B Tech Civil with 5 Years of overall experience with 3 years in 3D BIM domain (Revit/ ACC/ Navisworks), Infrastructure/ Railway/ Metro project experience mandatory.

BIM Coordinator MEP        B Tech Mechanical with 5 Years of overall experience with 3 years in 3D BIM domain (Revit/ ACC/ Navisworks), Infrastructure/ Railway/ Metro project experience mandatory.

BIM Coordinator Arch        B Arch with 5 Years of overall experience with 3 years in 3D BIM domain (Revit/ ACC/ Navisworks), Infrastructure/ Railway/ Metro project experience mandatory.

BIM Coordinator Systems  B Tech Civil/Electrical/Mechanical; 5 Years of overall experience with 3 years in 3D BIM domain (Revit/ ACC/ Navisworks), Infrastructure/ Railway/ Metro project experience mandatory.

Responsibility

BIM Model Management

a) Develop, review, and maintain discipline-wise BIM models.

b) Create and manage federated models integrating all disciplines.

c) Ensure compliance with the approved BIM Execution Plan (BEP)

d) Maintain model version control and data integrity.

Multidisciplinary Coordination

a) Perform clash detection using federated BIM models.

b) Identify, track, and resolve design and construction conflicts.

c) Conduct and participate in coordination meetings with stakeholders.

d) Maintain a log of coordination issues and resolutions.

Compliance with Standards

a) Ensure adherence to Employer's Information Requirements (EIR) and BIM standards.

b) Verify Level of Development (LOD) and Level of Information (LOI) compliance.

c) Ensure conformity with applicable codes, standards, and project specifications.

Documentation and Reporting

a) Prepare clash detection reports and coordination reports.

b) Maintain records of model submissions, revisions, and approvals.

c) Submit periodic progress reports as directed by the Employer

d) Prepare minutes of BIM coordination meetings.

Interface Coordination

a) Coordinate between civil, architectural, MEP, track, and system disciplines.

b) Ensure proper integration of all systems within the BIM environment.

c) Support interface management between different contracts/packages.

d) Able to handle IFC and compatible file formats

Support During Project Lifecycle

a) Provide BIM support during design, construction, and commissioning stages.

b) Assist in 4D (time) and 5D (cost) BIM integration, where required.

c) Support preparation of Asset Information Model (AIM) for handover.

d) Assist in O&M data integration as per project requirements.

Deliverables

a) Discipline-specific BIM models

b) Federated BIM models

c) Clash detection and resolution reports

d) BIM coordination meeting minutes

e) Model audit and compliance reports

f) As-built BIM models and asset data (where applicable) 

Key skills:

• Proven experience as a BIM coordinator in the engineering, or construction industry.
• Proficiency in BIM software such as Autodesk Revit, Autodesk Navisworks, AutoCAD, BIM 360 or similar tools.
• Infrastructure/ Metro/ Railway project experience is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure linear projects and construction processes.
• capable of creating, managing, and standardizing parametric BIM families for system-wide equipment in compliance with the approved BIM standards and project requirements.

• b) Coordination Tools: Navisworks Manage
• c) Common Data Environment (CDE): Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) & BIM 360
