Role Synopsis- The BIM Architect is responsible for developing, coordinating, and delivering high-quality Building Information Models for large-scale commercial and residential projects using Revit. The role involves translating design intent into detailed, coordinated BIM models up to LOD 350400, supporting design development, construction documentation, and interdisciplinary coordination.
The position requires close collaboration with design architects, structural and MEP consultants, project managers, and site teams to ensure model accuracy, constructability, and compliance with project standards, codes, and BIM execution plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage architectural BIM models in Revit for large-scale commercial and residential projects.
- Produce models and drawings up to LOD 350400, including detailed architectural elements, assemblies, and interfaces.
- Coordinate BIM models with structural, MEP, faade, and interior disciplines to resolve clashes and design conflicts.
- Translate concept and schematic designs into detailed BIM-based construction documentation.
- Ensure adherence to BIM standards, naming conventions, templates, and BEP requirements.
- Perform model audits for accuracy, consistency, and data integrity.
- Generate coordinated drawings, schedules, quantities, and details from BIM models.
- Support design coordination meetings and respond to technical queries during project execution.
- Assist in BIM workflows, model upgrades, and continuous process improvement.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong proficiency in Revit (Architecture) and BIM workflows.
- Hands-on experience delivering projects up to LOD 350400.
- Good understanding of commercial and residential building systems, construction detailing, and coordination.
- Knowledge of clash detection processes and coordination tools (e.g., Navisworks preferred).
- Ability to interpret architectural design intent and convert it into buildable models.
- Strong attention to detail, coordination skills, and documentation accuracy.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
