Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled BIM Architect/Draftsman to join our team to produce accurate 3D BIM models, detailed working drawings, and construction documentation for residential projects. The ideal candidate will translate architectural sketches into detailed Revit models, ensuring coordination between architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines.
Key Responsibilities
- BIM Modeling:Develop detailed 3D architectural models (LOD 300-350) for residential projects, including villas, houses, and multi-unit developments.
- Documentation:Generate comprehensive construction documents (plans, elevations, sections, schedules) directly from the BIM model.
- Drafting:Prepare detailed 3D architectural shop drawings, working drawings, and as-built drawings using Archicad.
- Coordination:Conduct clash detection to identify and resolve conflicts between architectural, structural, and MEP elements.
- Family Creation:Create parametric Revit families (doors, windows, furniture) to improve modeling efficiency.
- Design Revision:Modify existing designs, sketches, or CAD layouts based on client feedback and design changes.
- Collaboration:Work with architects, structural engineers, and contractors to ensure design intent is maintained and accurate.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in architectural drafting or BIM modeling, specifically within the residential & commercial or Mix used sector.
- Software:Strong proficiency in Archicad (Architectural) is essential. Proficiency in AutoCAD is required.
- Technical Knowledge:Understanding of residential construction techniques, detailing, and building codes.
- Communication:Excellent communication skills to discuss changes with designers and clients.
- Freelance/Remote Specifics:Must have a reliable computer, Revit license, and high-speed internet to manage files via BIM 360/ACC.
