The billing supervisor–client services will lead and manage our India-based billing team supporting US operations. This role owns to ensure seamless execution of invoicing process, adherence to SLAs, and continuous process improvements. This role involves mentoring the billing team, handling escalations, and partnering with stakeholders to improve billing accuracy, reduce cycle times, and enhance customer experience.
This is a hands-on team lead role for someone who enjoys leading, managing and being the go-to billing expert — especially within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
What You'll Do
Billing Operations
- Own the end-to-end billing process for US-based professional services engagements.
- Review and release invoices in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
- Ensure compliance with client-specific billing terms, engagement structures, and contractual requirements.
- Review billing exception reports and ensure appropriate approvals and documentation.
- Resolve WIP issues, invoice corrections, and re-billings.
Financial Review & Insights
- Track realization, gross margin, bill rates, write-ups, and write-downs.
- Partner with engagement teams for WIP and AR management.
Team Leadership
- Lead and develop Billing Analysts in India.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to revenue leakage and billing errors
Systems & Process Excellence
- Own Dynamics 365 F&O billing workflows and controls.
- Drive SOPs, standardization, and audit readiness.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with Billing, AR, and Finance leaders.
What You Bring
- 3–5+ years of billing experience in professional services.
- Strong MS Dynamics 365 F&O billing experience & preferred Project operations experience
- Team leadership and US stakeholder exposure.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a global delivery center, captive, or shared services environment.
- Prior experience supporting US CPA firms, consulting firms, or Big 4 / large professional services organizations.
- CA / CMA / ICWA qualification or progress toward certification (preferred but not mandatory).
