About The Opportunity
A fast-growing player in the Global Workforce Solutions & Freelance Marketplace sector, operating end-to-end billing, payroll and vendor management services for enterprise and SMB clients. We support high-volume invoicing, reconciliations and collections across India and international accounts, providing accurate financial operations that enable scalable talent commerce.
We are hiring an on-site Billing Executive based in India to own client invoicing, vendor billing coordination and accounts-receivable processes that ensure timely cash flow and clean month-end closes.
Role & Responsibilities
- Prepare and issue accurate client invoices and credit notes on defined billing cycles, ensuring GST and statutory details are complete.
- Manage accounts receivable: track payments, follow up on overdue invoices, and maintain aging reports to minimise DSO.
- Perform billing reconciliations between contracts, sales orders, and ledger entries; resolve discrepancies with sales and operations teams.
- Process vendor bills and coordinate approvals for timely payments; assist with vendor statement reconciliation.
- Support month-end and quarter-end closing activities: post journal vouchers, update ledgers, and prepare billing schedules for finance review.
- Maintain accurate billing records, respond to client billing queries, and implement process improvements to reduce errors and disputes.

- Experience with billing platforms or ERPs used by staffing/marketplace businesses

- Familiarity with collections tooling or payment gateway reconciliations
