Role Description The Billing Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram. This position is responsible for preparing and verifying bills of quantities (BOQs), performing rate analysis, and validating contractor bills against drawings, specifications, and site progress. The role includes coordinating with project managers, site engineers, and vendors to ensure accurate quantity surveying and timely submission of client and subcontractor bills. The Billing Engineer will maintain billing records, track project costs, assist in cost control and budgeting, and support audits and reconciliations. The role also involves using billing systems and relevant software tools to generate reports, resolve billing discrepancies, and ensure compliance with company standards and client requirements.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong Quantity Surveying and BOQ preparation skills.
  • Candidates should possess experience with Billing Systems and Rate Analysis.
  • Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills for cost comparison, validation, and problem-solving.
  • Candidates should possess proficiency in MS Excel and relevant billing or project management software.
  • Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is preferred.
  • Prior experience in commercial interiors, fit-outs, or construction billing is an advantage.
  • Ability to interpret drawings and specifications, and collaborate effectively with site and project teams.
  • Attention to detail, strong numerical aptitude, and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
