Job Description:We are hiring an experienced Accountant for our client, Harivallabhi Jewellers, located at Kathriguppe Circle, Banashankari 3rd Stage, Bengaluru. The ideal candidate should have prior experience working in a gold/jewellery showroom and strong knowledge of Tally and billing operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain daily accounting entries using Tally (ERP)
- Handle gold purchase, sales, and stock accounting
- Generate billing invoices for retail and wholesale customers
- Maintain cash, bank, and ledger accounts
- Record and track gold weight, purity, wastage, and making charges
- Handle GST entries, returns, and compliance related to jewellery business
- Reconcile daily sales, cash collections, and bank statements
- Maintain accurate inventory and stock records
- Support management with reports and audit requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications:- Mandatory experience in a gold/jewellery shop
- Strong working knowledge of Tally
- Proven billing and invoicing experience
- Knowledge of GST and jewellery accounting practices
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
