Billing Analyst

Job Title: Billing Engineer

Role Summary:

The Billing Engineer will be responsible for accurate site measurement, material validation, and preparation of running and final bills. The role ensures proper tracking of executed quantities, inventory alignment, and timely billing for smooth project cash flow.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Measurement & Material Validation at Site

Take accurate site measurements of executed work as per drawings and BOQ

Validate materials used at site against approved specifications and quantities

Coordinate with site team to ensure measurements reflect actual execution

2. Bill Computation

Prepare RA (Running Account) bills based on verified measurements

Ensure correct application of rates, advance adjustments, and retention

Track cumulative quantities vs PO/BOQ to avoid overbilling or duplication

Prepare and close final bills with complete documentation

3. Inventory & Quantity Tracking

Update material consumption and reconcile with site inventory

Coordinate with stores/procurement for stock tracking and variance control

Ensure alignment between billed quantities and material usage

Additional Responsibilities:

Maintain proper billing documentation (measurement sheets, abstracts, approvals)

Coordinate with accounts for invoice submission and payment follow-ups

Highlight discrepancies in quantities, materials, or billing to management

Key Skills:

Strong understanding of BOQs, measurements, and rate analysis

Attention to detail and accuracy in billing

Good coordination with site, procurement, and accounts teams

Working knowledge of Excel / billing software
